Wer saugt und wischt denn bei Dir?

By Anna28. März 2021

„Ein Saugroboter?! Was für ein Witz! Niemals!“ …waren meine Worte damals… Damals hatten wir aber auch eine Putzfee, die ein Mal die Woche unser Haus auf Vordermann gebracht hat. Und […]

⛔️ “anti-social” as such does not exist
“Anti-Social” is a trending term popping up everywhere lately, sometimes in the weirdest contexts.
No clue when and where this started...

Fact is: anti-social as such and as it is lately used does not exist!

We as humans are social beings.
Full stop!

As newborns our survival highly depends on us being close to others and as kids we continue longing for being around our family. It is part of our nature.

These social contacts usually accompanied by lots of love are needed to psychological grow up properly and evolve!

If, due to any reason, one decides to be “anti-social”, it’s an individual decision. And still contacts to others will even then be given to one extend or the other.

Unless living somewhere in the middle of nowhere with no one around within kilometers, you are social.

Even if you are highly introverted you still got your social contacts. Probably just a few. But they are there. For good reasons! I am convinced that everyone needs a social environment to not harm ourselves.

What is really important is to choose the people you surround yourself with very wisely.
Highly reduce interactions with those who drain your energy and maximize time with those giving you energy, those who make you feel alive, happy, free, motivated and even more when you are around them.

A different understanding of anti-social are those who put themselves first in every matter and at every time. People who simply don’t care about others and behave like that in every given situation, just following their own needs. Unfortunately there are still too many of those kind of peoples around - but this is a different topic to talk about...

☀️Our feelings deserve more than just a “goo ☀️Our feelings deserve more than just a “good”☀️

Sometimes good is not enough! There is more to our well-being and feelings than just a simple, quick and plain “good”.

This small little word took over quite a big role in our common conversations and, at the same time, supported an alienation towards our feelings.

Having this short little word and easy answer at hand is taking away possibilities and opportunities for us to go deeper, to tell more about ourselves, to express ourselves and to be honest towards us and others!

“How are you doing?”
“How has your day been?”
“How has it been at school?”

What’s the first word popping up in your head when being faced with these kind of questions?

It’s “good”, isn’t it?

And how often did you answer “good” just out of convenience, just because it’s quickly said and accepted as a proper answer by everyone?
🤔
Without knowing your answer to this one, I can tell it’s either way been far too often, for sure.
🚫
Did you ever ask yourself in those cases what “good” really means?

Probably not...

It was the same for me.

“I’m good, thanks.” ➡️ No need to further elaborate on or think about how I feel.

I am noticing this one a lot with our kids as well. And this is how, in the end, I got really aware of this topic of unspoken - or rather unthought - feelings that is sneaking in.

What if “good” wouldn’t be an option anymore?
What if you would deal with yourself a little more before answering, give yourself a little more time. What would you then reply instead of „good”?

And it’s not about replacing „good” by another generic reply such as „fine“☝️
Take it as an example!

⚠️There‘s been a change in our capability to define our feelings and being properly aware of them.⚠️

One that is not in our favor...

We lost the ability to put into words how we really feel - about people, things, situations or just in this very moment right now.
↩️A capability we need to teach ourselves again and make regular use of the tons of adjectives our languages are offering us!

😤😠😡 Did you get highly upset because of s 😤😠😡
Did you get highly upset because of small little things your partner said or done?
Have you been facing yourself yelling at your kid about some unimportant thing?😤 And very likely your reaction been coming out of “nowhere”. Am I right?!🙃 How did I know?

Well, the next view lines might help you in situations like those. At least they did help US a lot.👍

‘Cause it’s all about the monkey!

🤨 Might sound weird but in fact this perfectly explains what‘s going on inside of us. Have you heard about this little monkey in a box inside of us all?
🐒📦

Let me briefly explain:
You know these toys where there is a clown in a box, popping out by surprise all of a sudden?

Now what if I told you there is that small but pretty wild monkey in such a box inside all of us?!🐒🎁 Most of the times this crazy monkey is all fine, staying in that box being all quite.

🚨 But then there are those situations that trigger the monkey and all of a sudden it’s popping out of that box going all wild and crazy and spreading quite some chaos.🚨
The monkey is nothing else than our very spontaneous first emotional reaction going a little too far. Usually shutting down our common sense and just going crazy.

Our common sense, the rationality, is the counterpart to that monkey. Let‘s just imagine a smooth, well thought and relaxed little fellow. 👨‍🏫👩‍🏫

If you are just a little like me, these highly emotional reactions might not be something you are a big fan of. To overcome the sudden angry reactions we need to know what‘s going on, we need to focus on the rationality and get the emotions under control.💪Strengthen our smooth little fellow inside to help him put the monkey back in that box.

Keeping this in mind, will help you better understand the reactions inside of us. And this is also true for that person in front of you just „overreacting“ again. Something simply triggered the monkey.🤷‍♂️🤷🏻‍♀️
The more often we follow this and counteract the smaller the monkey gets and the better our rationality is, in keeping it under control.

Don’t get me wrong! We still need to let our emotions break free but in a way that it’s not shutting down the whole system, right?!😊

👉Don’t ever forget about yourself!👈 As Par 👉Don’t ever forget about yourself!👈
As Parents of 5, working on full-time jobs, following our own projects and visions on top and taking care of the usual topics such has grocery shopping and managing the household we know how busy life can be - trust us😉

Family-wise, business-wise, social-wise, health-wise...

But no matter the times and chapters in your life, and very especially during these busy phases, ALWAYS SAVE TIME FOR YOURSELF!
Treating yourself good at any time, should be your very first priority.
This is not selfish at all, it’s necessary!
🌸🌼🌺
Think about yourself, your life, your soul as a garden. You are the only one being able to take care of that garden. It’s yours and only yours.
Create it in a way you feel most comfortable with, in a way that it feels like “home” to you...with blooming flowers, big trees, green grass, picturesque lakes, endless yawns!
🌳🌷🌲 🌹
Whatever your garden looks like, you need to take care of your garden regularly to not let it get abandoned.
🤜🤛
Only then it makes sense to reach out to others and supporting them in growing their garden. Helping others before you set your own things right, would mean neglecting your own garden.
😕
And how could you ever dare to help others if you are not even able to help yourself?
🤷🏻‍♀️🤷‍♂️
So, how does your garden look like these days?

and yours alone,

but no one can walk it for you!”

Have a wonderful week everyone ☀️ Have a wonderful week everyone ☀️
🔨We are rather looking for the quick fix than t 🔨We are rather looking for the quick fix than the proper solution😕
Have you ever noticed this yourself? I surely did! Several times before and even more now that I got aware of this🤯
A tendency that occurs more and more in all of our lives. Something we need to get away from!

Why? Isn‘t it obvious?!
👇
Quick fixes always tend to come back to you at one point in time and usually they come back double the size. Although, we are kind of aware of that, when facing the choices we still pretty fast on the quick fix.
🤷🏻‍♀️🤷‍♂️
Fact is, if the future is built on a series of quick fixes it will collapse in an epic boom rather sooner than later💥

This is true for business💻
This is true for our relationships💕
Now the real serious issue is that this is even true for our health!🍏

And pretty sure you agree, that this does not make sense at all!🤦‍♂️🤦🏻‍♀️

Call it laziness, convenience, blind trust in what the doctors tell or whatever - in the end it’s irresponsible recklessness towards ourselves.

Don‘t ever go for the quick fix when it‘s about your health! Never ever!

Take a second and think about yourself. How often did you rather go for swallowing some pills instead of confronting yourself with the real cause of the sickness and tackling it properly?🤔

Got a headache? 💊 Take a pill and move on.
Got some bad blood values? 💊💊 Take some more pills and they will balance again.
Got a Heart Attack? 💊💊💊💊Take even more pills and continue life as usual.

These are crazy but common human behaviors!

A headache, a heart attack, diabetes, you name it, they are the EFFECTS not the CAUSE.

☝️Wow, that‘s a big thing right here🤯
Again, they are effects not the cause.
So, just swallowing pills that are treating the effect will never be the solution!

Good news is, you know better than that!
Take time to go deeper, to understand what’s going on, to figure out the real cause. And than have the guts to change that part of your life, whatever is needed!

This is about you. This is about your health and no change should be “too much of an effort”.

The next time you’re reaching for some pills and it looks like the solution to you - please look again.
✔️Life was never meant to be tough! Don‘t kn ✔️Life was never meant to be tough!
Don‘t know when we started to share exactly these false believes from generation to generation:

☝️„Life is a challenge.“
☝️„You better be prepared.“
☝️„It‘s not going to be easy.“

⛔️Let‘s stop this!

This is a totally weird point of view at life!

None of us is supposed to just „get along“ in life!
We are all supposed to ENJOY life and life itself is always in our favor!☀️

Just deal with it!

It is not a necessity of life to complain or stress yourself out day by day, week by week, month by month.

Start living your live today and change perspectives: instead of complaining, change the things that doesn’t fit it and establish a certainty that life is always in your favor!
💫💫💫
Doesn‘t this feel A LOT better?!
